Unlike
Athena, our products do not pop from their compound baths
complete and whole. In order to enhance both their durability
and beauty. Phoenix Electroforming has developed additional
finishing processes.
First,
a tarnish retardant agent has been added to the finishing
process. It is far more effective and durable than the lacquer
spray technique usually employed to prevent tarnish from forming
on silver. Our retardant is applied chemically to ensure a
long lasting luster on both our jewelry and objects.

Gold
and silver are finished in many different ways to create special
effects our
finished creations can appear as soft as satin, as piercingly
bright as lightening, as gilttering as a sea of diamonds or
a mixtureof all three.
To
create this galactic illusion, a glittering Milky Way of silver,
we have developed a special finish, our own unique technique
, Milleluci, or "a thousand lights." When used along with
other techniques, this finish adds a special textured luminescence
that often highlights and further defines the details of a
piece. The silver elephant's tusks and the inlays of our golden
sarcophagus are but two examples of the contrasts in textural
beauty that can be created by Milleluci.

Unwilling
to stand still, Phoenix is looking towards a future
of further technological advance and new creations resulting
from ongoing research. For example, the introduction of a line
of Electro-formed silverware and serving utensils. Articles
of value and beauty, but with a practical dimension as well
as a decorative one. Also, as our market expands, the inclusion
of offerings from more than the West and Asia, an exploration
of other more exotic jewelry and design. These are but a few
avenues we're exploring, and soon hope to be able to tell you
more about them. |
